Big Lolly

On our recent road trip to/from Greenville E would grab one of these huge lollies at every gas station stop and walk around like it was hers. She doesn't quite understand that gas station doesn't equal free for all- we actually have to pay for the stuff. Anyway, cute as it was, I always made her put them back. On the way home at our final gas station stop she did it again. Again I made her put it away. As I was buckling her in her car seat a sweet older man came out, huge lolly in hand asking if she good have it. Sure. It was precious.

Best Buds

Ella and her dear little friends Claire and Lizzie. These 3 have great times together! This photo is just another reminder that my baby is growing up. Not a care in the world, just hanging out with her girls!

An Ode to the Uncles

I was subtly reminded that I forgot to mention all of E's awesome Uncles- we wouldn't have made it through the wedding weekend without them. While the wives helped with wedding duties the dad's and uncle's did their best to entertain the kiddos. I know Ella is always thrilled with the attention they lavish upon her. We love you uncles! PS-there's two uncles missing-Daniel and Greg somehow managed to avoid being photographed in his awesome shades. We love you too though!

The Big Event

The gorgeous site, pre-decorations. It was breathtaking!

Congrats again Lyds and Gabe! What an amazing day!
We're so thrilled for you!

Down the Aisle

Very serious business.
Apparently this is E's new nervous habit. Yes,
she walked the whole way down like this. Ahh,
at least she made it!

But, once she got to the end, she dumped
every.last.petal. out of her basket. It was hysterical.
People we laughing out loud. Notice uncle Matt's
hand below, trying to pull her to the side.

Nothing like a good nose pick in front of 200+ people! Classic!

More Cousin Fun

Cousins

In case you didn't know- J has a really large blended family(8 children total), making an extra-large extended family. So far there are 7 cousins aged 3 and under, plus 2 more due by the end of the year. And only 4 of the siblings have started families, so still 4 more families to be started. We are truly blessed to be a part of this amazing family, where more than anything we are friends, who all enjoy one another immensely. We are all spread out throughout the country and even the world, so every time we're all together, it's really something special. Love and miss you all!

Baby Love

Boy does Ella love babies. And while in Greenville, she was able to hold her very first real live one. Her precious little cousin Elsi was quite tolerant of all the love and affection Ella had for her. It was so precious to see how tender E was. Hopefully we'll have a sibling for her one of these days!

Wedding Weekend

We just returned from a wild and crazy wedding weekend in Greenville. J's step-sister got married and Ella was in her first wedding! It was a great time with J's wonderful family- 7 siblings, lots of in-laws and 7 little cousins (3 and under!). Many more pictures to come...I'm still recovering! ;) Congrats Gabe and Lydia- we love you!!

Grasshopper

Currently Ella has quite the fear of bugs- dead or alive. She will not rest until they are disposed of. However, the other day she was quite taken with a little green grasshopper. Somehow it wasn't a bug to her. She played with it for quite some time. It was precious.

Down By the River

With all the rain, we spent lots of time in Savannah rather than the beach. It was great fun exploring the beautiful city with our girls!

A Little Beach Time

Trying to dig her own little hole.

It rained the majority of our trip, keeping beach time to a minimum. Strangely E wasn't the biggest fan this time, so it was okay. The girls spent most of their time on the log. Regardless sweet memories were made.
