3 Months

Can't believe it's been 3 months since Caroline entered our lives. Already, I can't begin to imagine our lives without her in it. She is an incredible addition to our little family. In these early much there's not too much exciting to report as far as milestones go...she has rolled over a few times.  It's been fun trying to make her laugh, and she's doing it more and more. A few weeks back we learned I needed to cut Soy out of my diet (in addition to Dairy) and it has made such a difference in little C. Much less spitting up going on...so she finally seems to be putting on a lot more weight. We'll find out for sure at her follow-up appointment on Tuesday.

It's fun to look back at what Ella was doing at this age and to compare the two. It's also nice to have a better idea what lies ahead (for the most part). We are all thoroughly  enjoying this sweet little blessing- still the happiest little baby I know! :)

First Laughs

We are thankful for the technology that enables us to catch these sweet moments. Love the noise that actually got her laughing. Of course she was laughing much more before we started the video, but here are a few little snippets...no belly laughing just yet, but still so cute! At least I know when all else fails, someone thinks I'm funny!

Caroline Talks

Alternate title- "Mommy Sounds Like A Goober." :) Caroline was really "talking" last night, she was going for quite awhile before I shot the video. Good thing Daddy is the one w/ the video on his phone...otherwise I'd be videoing the girls all day long. :)

I'm constantly amazed how much these two look alike as babies. Can you guess who is who? (Okay, I guess the iPhone photos give it away). I'm so interested to see if they continue to look so similar as Caroline gets older...

10 weeks

Our sweet Caroline is 10 weeks old today- can't believe it! She is changing so fast. It seems like I'm noticing the subtle developments a lot more this time. Being a second timer allows that. Rather than worrying about every little thing there's more time to enjoy the small stuff.

Her newest developments- SO much smiling. Ella was a really happy baby, but Caroline has her beat by a long shot. She smiles. All the time. It melts my heart. She finally started sleeping through the night last week! Right at 9 weeks. It was starting to feel like it would never happen. Then 9 weeks to the day, she did it! And she's been doing it ever since. She also loves "standing." She does not like tummy time (what baby does at this age?), and she's starting to suck her thumb a lot more. Her 2 month stats: 10 lbs. 22 inches. Still a little bit of peanut (E was 11 lbs. 10 oz. at 2 months). She is so much fun. Such a joy!

Changing So Fast

Here is the bubs last week at 7 weeks. Can't even believe she'll be 2 months old at the end of the week! It blows my mind how quickly they change. She is looking so much older to me already. Love this little sweet pea.
