One E's new favorite things is the park. Our new neighborhood has a little tot lot, and we ventured over a few weeks ago for the first time. It was a hit! If only it had swings, then it would really be perfect.

Seashell

Took a spontaneous trip to the beach this evening, it was great!
Stopped at the gas station and they were selling lots of shells-of course!
Daddy bought E her first special seashell (as she calls it),
and then taught her to listen to the ocean.
This kept her entertained throughout dinner (well this and
eating Parmesan cheese like a doggie off of her plate).
No camera this trip, so an iPhone photo must suffice.

I've seen this floating around the blog world for awhile and decided since life is pretty tough right now, that this is another small way to keep myself focused on the small things that make life a little more enjoyable. They really capture the sassiness of our daughter.
I absolutely love this quality in her, it makes her
