SeaWorld

Below is the face she wore most of the day.
Amazement and Joy- it was so precious!

We took a trip to Sea World on Saturday and it was awesome. What fun to watch our girl experience the wonder of sea life for the first time. To say she loved it would be an understatement. Yesterday she told us numerous times that she wanted to see dolphins and Shamu again! PS-if you're a FL resident you pay once and get to come back for the rest of the year. What a deal!

Cotton Candy

Gave E some Cotton Candy for the first time. She loved it and really wanted more!

A New Place to Play

This towel was worn all morning. Even came along for the ride to church.
Ah, toddlers!

Blueberry Morning

Left E in the highchair for a bit, watching a video while I got some work done. She was silent for a little too long. I came out to this-the pic doesn't remotely do it justice. Hair, hands and face covered in purple! Off to the tub!

And Strawberries Too!

E was looking far too cute not to photograph today.
The first is probably my favorite, but in an effort to learn the camera and
take more pictures I ended up snapping about 100 shots. More favorites below...
Showing her grille-
thanks for that trick Uncle RyRy!

Cracking up

Picture!

I'm not usually one for New Year resolutions, however I sort of have one this year. I've realized that I've become a real slacker with the camera. We've owned our current beauty for at least a year now, and I hardly know how to use it. The husband loves taking pictures, so I've become lazy and left it up to him. And I'm home with this little cutie all day. So, I resolve to take more pictures myself, I do love photography! And she loves to have her picture taken. This afternoon I was snapping away, and she got very upset when I was done. She started crying and just kept saying "picture." So sweet.

Christmas Morning

The trike- or as E calls it her "motorcycle"

Hard at work in her new kitchen.

Christmas was definitely extra fun this year- I'm not sure who had more fun, Ella or us? She was quite serious about the whole thing, and enjoyed opening gifts- hers and anyone else who would let her open theirs. The big deals of the day were her new tricycle (or motorcycle as she calls it), and her play kitchen. The kitchen was given to her by her great-grandmother, who also bought me my first play kitchen. Very special. And J and I spent 2.5 hrs. putting it together- also special. We really feel like parents now, and certainly appreciate ours a little more.

Merry Christmas!!

"Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."– Luke 2:10-12

Where Have We Been?

We decided to take the crazy route and move in December! To me it was more important to be settled in the new place before Christmas rather than stress about keeping the other house perfect for potential showings. We hope to be mostly settled in by the end of the week! So far so good...but still mountains of boxes to conquer. No easy feat whilst working part-time, along with the toddler tornado living in our midst.

Quite A Pair

It was a little too quiet this morning, so I went to check on E and this is what I found...

Time for hugs and kisses

De Leon Springs

For those who don't know, J and I share a birthday- same age and all. We took Friday off to celebrate (a few days early), and we enjoyed a lovely day. First stop was De Leon Springs- a gorgeous state park not far from our new home. They have an awesome restaurant where you cook pancakes at your table- delicious! This was a welcome break from our daily busyness.

E admiring the beautiful springs

J enjoying his pancakes.

Delicious Pancakes

Happy Mama

E really wanted to go swimming and kept asking
for her bathing suit!
