Big girls do! This is just one of the many things that make our sweet girl seem so old to us! She is now 18 months- 6 more months until she's 2! Where is the time going?? I keep finding myself looking at her and thinking what a big girl she's becoming...

Spain

We have safely returned from our glorious vacation in Spain. We had such a wonderful time, we truly didn't want to leave. Sadly all good things must come to an end. A brief re-cap: we enjoyed touring the city of Granada by bus and on foot, eating their delicious food, shopping, tapas, a flamenco show, we visited the Mediterranean, the Alhambra and the guys even travelled 3 hours away for a futbol game! E was such a trooper the whole time. We had one minor meltdown on the flight over, and none on the 9 hour return flight. Our upgrade to first class was worth every frequent flier mile!

Peering Out on the World

Aside from seeing her Grandparents and Uncle, E's highlight of her trip was the window above the stairs. She spent countless hours at this windows watching the bustling little street below. It was precious and she made many friends.

Grandma Gini (or Gigi as E called her) bought E this adorable flamenco dress. She had so much fun running around outside in it as we snapped away. We could hardly get her to stand still.

Splish Splash

The whole family is thrilled with the brand new splash park just minutes from our house. This was only E's second visit, and the second we got out of the car she was squealing with excitement. This will certainly be one very good way for us to weather the sweltering heat this summer.

Scenes From an Easter Basket

E got her very first Easter Basket yesterday, and she definitely enjoyed it. She got into the candy right away, unwrapped and ate a piece all by herself! She's never eaten candy before so it was pretty funny, she looked like she's been eating it all her life!

It was all fun and games until she started eating the candy & the wrapper....
PS- All that candy isn't for E- it's the family basket! :)
