Busted!

I've been caught doing lots of this lately. Mama is tired, but oh so happy!

8 Days In

Here we are 8 days in as a family of 4. Things are still going really well. Caroline is an incredible little baby. Ella was so good, I didn't think I'd get so "lucky" twice. She is feeding really well and sleeping great too. She is a very happy baby! I am doing better on a daily basis, though I have to say this recovery has been a little more difficult. Looking forward to feeling a bit more like myself. But I can't complain!

Ella is handling the transition really well. There have been a few hiccups along the way- like testing me when I'm breastfeeding, knowing full well I can't do anything right then...and I can tell she misses our one on one time. However, she is loving being a big sister overall. I forgot just how much I love the newborn stage. Mama is in heaven!

P-Pop and Grandma

Not only did we get our new addition last week, we also are still enjoying a wonderful visit from Grandma and P-pop. This visit is extra special to us, as they live in Spain, so it is a rare treat. Ella is beside herself having them all to herself for days on end. To say they have been helpful is the understatement of the year! Their presence has certainly eased the transition into a family of 4 for all of us. Thank you so much Grandma and P-pop! We love you!!!

Welcoming Caroline Grace Cobb

She arrived @7:45am on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 7lbs and 7oz. Mama Cobb is recovering well from the c-section, Caroline is eating well and fussing little thus far. Here are a few photos documenting her arrival. You can see the rest on flickr (link at top).

Seven Years!

And look where we are...I know this picture is from Christmas, but this is probably our most recent family photo. Here we are, our sweet little family of 4 (Charlie counts!), hard to believe one week from today we will finally be adding our much anticipated addition. It is such a blessing and a privilege to be married to such a wonderful man, and to mother such a wonderful little girl. 7 years ago today we were just getting started, and in so many ways, I still feel that we are. I love you honey! Thank you for such a incredible 7 years...looking forward to many, many more!

11 Days!

So hard to believe we only have 11 days left to go! Had my last appointment with the specialist today and everything is looking great! I suspected baby might have gone back to head down position last week (lots of crazy movement for awhile one day) and sure enough she did! She is looking pretty big- their current estimate is 7 lbs. 7 oz. Everything is measuring right on track. I'm guessing she'll be about E's size (almost 8 lbs.)...we'll see! Please continue to pray for this little one, that the Lord will keep her safe these final days, and that the c-section will go smoothly. I'm getting a little anxious about the c-section...so you can pray for peace for me too.

E's new thing is making different faces and asking us to take her picture. Then she wants to see the picture. She does it with the big camera and the iPhone. No matter as long as it's a camera. It's so cute!
