Baby Update

Here we are at 34 weeks, only 5 more to go! Can't believe we only have 35 more days until baby day! Had my monthly high risk appointment on Thursday and everything is still looking great! Although little girl has gone breech. I can't believe it! She has been head down at every ultrasound I've ever had. And now breech. Thankfully we are a repeat c-section, so it doesn't matter. She is measuring a bit on the large side (currently 5 lbs. 2 oz.) but there is a 14 oz. margin of error. However, the Dr. still thinks she's going to be big! Other good news, they did some blood tests a few weeks ago to ensure I'm on the correct dosage of blood thinner, and I am, very good news. Please keep us in your prayers these final weeks, that things will continue to progress well, and that mama and baby will stay healthy!

In other news, my wonderful friends hosted an awesome baby shower for me last Thursday. It was so much fun to celebrate the impending arrival of this little blessing with those nearest and dearest to me. Thank you girls!

Major Props to the Hubs

Just wanted to be sure to give proper credit to my awesome photographer of a husband. What started as a small little hobby has really blossomed into an amazing talent. So anytime you see really great photos on here they are very likely shot by my very talented hubby. :) I can't wait to see what beautiful memories he will shoot of our upcoming addition. Thanks honey for capturing our life so beautifully!

New Lens + Fountain Cleaning = Fun

Our new lens arrived today (Canon 85mm f/1.8) and cleaning the water fountain led to an impromptu photoshoot.

Germy Kid

Whew, this last week has been a rough one as far as sickness in our home. Sunday morning started with Pink Eye for E. $115, one tiny bottle of eye drops and one day later E was on the mend. J and I were spared. Thursday morning E awoke with the stomach bug. Short lived only about 3 hours and then she was back to her sweet self. Again, J and I were spared! The next day E was having cold symptoms. J and I have not been spared from that one. But of the 3, that is certainly the illness I would choose. :) This however is our 3rd, yes 3rd cold since December! And now, it appears that mama has come down with an ear infection of all things. Will know for sure later today. I certainly feel for all those little ones who suffer with these. It is not fun. Here's to hoping that all this sickness clears out of the house in time for baby next month!

PS-Last week when E talked to my mom on the phone, she told her she's a "germy kid." She was right!
