Quick Update

Had my monthly high risk appointment last Thursday, and so far so good! Baby is measuring right on target- by their estimates 3 lbs. 9 oz. already! They did a non-stress test (which I will start weekly next week) and all was well with our little girl. Each day I definitely learn to trust the Lord a little bit more. His peace is truly a blessing. Please keep praying for me and our sweet little girl...only 8 weeks and 2 days to go!

Morning Glory

This little munchkin wakes up so happy and full of energy every morning. I'm usually working on the couch when she comes (literally) running out of her room, full of joy, ready to take on the day. Always helps me start my day with a smile. P.S. Someone is starting to have "opinions" on her own clothes. I indulge her, sometimes.

This picture makes me laugh- normally E brings home some nice works of art from school. This is what she brought home today- 2 packing peanuts secured with a piece of tape. Minimalist I suppose.

Getting Started

We finally got started on the nursery today. And I am in love! J and our friend Kevin painted and put the crib together. J hung the curtains. We still have to move in the dresser, organize and hang everything on the walls. It's nice that we had all the main items already, so this time I can focus a little more on the details and accessories. This nursery will have a bit more of a girly flair than E's did. I'm loving the touches of pink this time around. Getting this started makes baby's near arrival even more real. We can't wait!

Lovin' In My Babies Eyes

Probably my favorite physical feature of E's are her beautiful eyes. Love the shape- nice and big (when she's not smiling :)) and the most interesting color- not quite blue, but not quite green. They photograph dark usually, but they are not brown. Just love them.

We Have a Date!

Went to my regular OB yesterday- going every 2 weeks now...and we officially scheduled our c-section! Monday, April 19th at 7:00 a.m. That is unless she decides to come earlier or the Dr's decide she needs to come earlier. Everything is looking good.

Next week I go in for my monthly appointment at the High Risk Dr. Hard to believe it's been 3 weeks since we started our journey in "high risk" territory. I am so very thankful for all the love, support and encouragement we've received these past weeks. Believe me when I say your prayers are appreciated, and they are felt. Most of the time I have a peace I didn't know was possible.

Oh! And I'm officially in the 3rd trimester!!
