Boating Around Tybee

Ella took her first boat ride over Memorial Day weekend in Tybee Island. She LOVED it! On the way to Daufuski Island she was quite serious, just drinking it all in, but on the way home, she was crazy- having SO much fun!

My heart was bursting with joy watching her enjoy herself so much.

Learning About Lizards

Mama wasn't a fan of this, but Daddy made me let her! She loved it, and was so gentle, using one finger to pet it just like the lady told her. I may have to draw the line at snakes!

Feeding Goats

The biggest goat- now we know why! He did this

to every kid, and he also kicked the fence 

when you stopped feeing him. It was hilarious!

there until every last piece was gone!

Jesus Loves Me!

Ella's newest love is singing! She has quite the repertoire of songs, but this was her first and still her favorite. Captured on our road trip to Savannah last weekend.

Grace in Small Things: Part 8 of 365

1. Sickness that forced me to rest all weekend, I needed it.

2. A wonderful Mother's Day, with an even more wonderful husband and daughter, even if the one who made me a mother was in rare form all day.

3. Productivity

4.  The joy of E learning and loving to sing (currently singing "Twinkle Twinkle" as I type).

5.  Another weekend ahead, and a long weekend at the beach in the near future.

South Beach as Seen Through the iPhone

The majority of last weekend found us with nothing but the iPhone to document. Not too shabby for an iphone. A few pics from the real camera to follow whenever I get around to uploading them. I had no idea just how beautiful Miami is, we had a wonderful time- lots of sight-seeing, people watching, beaching and eating. Perfect.
