1. Toddler birthday parties.
2. A spontaneous trip to the beach at 4 pm.
3. Seashells
4. Watching E delight in discovering the world around her.
5. Frozen yogurt from Frozen Gold.
6. A sassy new cell phone and $100 in accessories for free!

Seashell

Took a spontaneous trip to the beach this evening, it was great!
Stopped at the gas station and they were selling lots of shells-of course!
Daddy bought E her first special seashell (as she calls it),
and then taught her to listen to the ocean.
This kept her entertained throughout dinner (well this and
eating Parmesan cheese like a doggie off of her plate).
No camera this trip, so an iPhone photo must suffice.

Grace in Small Things

I've seen this floating around the blog world for awhile and decided since life is pretty tough right now, that this is another small way to keep myself focused on the small things that make life a little more enjoyable. I've also been toying with adding a bit more text to the blog- in addition to pictures of E of course. So here it is. Hope you enjoy!

1. How E is currently calling me "honey" more than mommy.
2. The will to cook a real dinner the last 2 nights, it was worth it.
3. My new red bathrobe.
4. White Wine sale at World Market.
5. Working out with an Ipod- yep, I've finally joined the 21st century!

Dizzy

This is E mid-spin. She loves to "get dizzy" and
this is always what her face looks like when
she spins. It's so funny!

So Sassy

These pictures had me laughing so hard last night!
They really capture the sassiness of our daughter.
I absolutely love this quality in her, it makes her
all the more fun, but definitely keeps me on my toes!
You should know that J had her sitting for photos and
this is what she gave us!

Good Morning!

That's what my sweet girl said to me this morning. Her rapidly increasing vocabulary continues to amaze and amuse me daily. A few other recent additions- absolutely not! ridiculous! that's nasty/disgusting, oh my gosh, noisy, ohh! that's beautiful! and probably my favorite-I want my mommy!

Dress Up

Such a good sport. I'm sure he has many days of this to come.

She Did It!!!

I'm sure one day she'll kill me for this picture,
but I'm just so proud of her!
E has been peeing on the "big girl potty" daily for the last week or so!
So far I've not started any real method, she's just doing it herself. Looks
like we have a long potty training day in our very near future, Dora panties and all!

Baby Dolls

One of E's most favorite things is baby dolls. She
is the best little mommy, even if she may not be so gentle.
Notice baby's position in photo 2. I'm always amused to see what
else she pushes around in her stroller- it's hard to see, but this time it's a bubble wand.
